Acts 2:1-4 describes the Day of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus’ followers. As they gathered together, a sound like a rushing wind filled the room, and divided tongues of fire rested on each person. They were filled with the Holy Spirit and miraculously began speaking in other languages.
