A Word From Our Pastor…

Hello, Beautiful People!

Here are a few things for you to enjoy along with all of this nice weather this week.

1.“Worship.” Nice weather calls for getting outside on a cool evening for a sunset and worshiping the Lord. This is one song to put on repeat. The album as a whole is incredible. I can’t encourage you enough to take 9 minutes and tell God all the good things he has done for you. (Click here to listen.)

2. “Forward by Faith.” This is our theme for stewardship this month. God is blessing and leading our congregation as we prepare for 2026. This week we sent out letters to our church family updating you on our budget for 2026 and encouraging everyone to prayerfully consider making a financial pledge in support of our mission and ministry for the coming year. Thank you for your prayers and the many ways you support our church.

3. “The Grace of Giving.” Sunday we will continue our message series – “Sow Generously; Reap Abundantly” – by diving into 2 Corinthians 8 to look at the antidote to greed. I shared with you guys something Sunday I picked up on from Andy Stanley in his book Enemies of the Heart “The antidote to greed is not guilt but generosity.” Christians can’t be guilted into a more generous lifestyle. We must be motivated from the heart to live open-handed toward God. He is the source of every good and perfect gift in our lives. We honor him by living generously with our time, our service, our money, and our lives.

Hope to see you Sunday!

Jimmy
