Don’t you all love a nice pat on the back after a job well done? Well, many of our high school seniors and college students have been working hard for many years, making their way through middle school and high school, or degrees at a college or a university. Now, they are finally earning diplomas and degrees! I think that deserves a little bit more than just a pat on the back.
So as a family this Sunday, we are going to come together to celebrate them and their accomplishments, but also more importantly pray for them as they continue on to the next steps of their life! I hope you can join us for a combined service at 10:00 a.m. in our family life building and then plan to stick around for a pot-luck lunch following at 11:00 a.m. If you are able, please bring your favorite dish to share!
I would also encourage you to think about what verse or passage of scripture has been impactful in your life. Each of our high school seniors will be presented with a Bible during the service, and afterwards, these Bibles will be available with pens, highlighters, and post-it notes. I encourage you to share your verse or passage with them, and hopefully years from now, regardless of where they end up, they will always remember the love and family they have here at Clinton Methodist Church.
See you Sunday!
