General Information/Questions
Where do my donations to CMC Clinton go?
Our members and regular attenders are asked to give regularly so that the resources for reaching the unchurched in our community and the continual growth of those within our congregation are available.
Will I receive a statement of contribution?
All gifts are tax deductible and we maintain annual giving records for your convenience. You will be mailed a record of your giving quarterly or you may request a record from our office at any time.
How does CMC Clinton maintain financial accountability?
Generosity is one of the primary evidences of a maturing disciple. Jesus said, “Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.” (Matt 6:21) We ask our members to make a covenant with us to be faithful in their giving. Not only in giving financially, but of all gifts in service. Each year we ask each member to re-affirm their faithfulness by renewing that covenant with a prayerful review of how they are fulfilling their commitment to giving and service, as well as how we are doing our part in helping them with that commitment.
Can I make non-cash contributions?
Yes. If you have other means of giving, such as appreciated stock or property, we are happy to receive such a gift and are equipped to process it. If you would like more information or assistance with this type of giving, please the church office at 601.924.667
